EXTENDED LIFE

Featuring Premier’s new SAF-T-LATCH, our innovative 820ELA Coupling Assembly offers an exceptionally safe, strong, and easy to use latch mechanism, Extended Life (EL) lubrication points, and the most popular bolt hole pattern in the industry.

The latch mechanism includes a small auxiliary air cylinder that is connected to our 281 or 282 Air Chamber. This assists in ensuring the latching mechanisms is closed while the vehicle is in motion. This coupling must be used with an air service chamber.

The 2200ELL Coupling is the perfect combination of the 2200EL (2200 with the Extended Life latch system) and our Low Profile Lever components. The Low Profile Lever is a good option for latch clearance issues and ease of use. Please note the Low Profile Lever is only available with the 2200 Coupling. This coupling offers a maximum gross trailer weight of 100,000 lbs. and 60,000 lbs. latch capacity, making it perfect for heavy-duty applications.

Our 2000 series just got even better! We now have an Extended Life (EL) latch option. Engineered latch lubrication ports deliver lubricant directly to the pivot points. This direct-inject system provides a rapid delivery of lubricant right where it counts. The result is smooth, consistent latch performance over an extended period of time.
